I received this wonderful e-mail from one of my sisters in the Lord, and it was the right time.  This coming New Year will be challenging, but it can also be my year of great fulfilment. Dreams that lay dormant, visions yet to come pass and promises can be kept. Change is about to happen, I believe time on earth is running out (according to Bible), but everything given to you and me can be the path.

The time is right for you and I both to just start. Beginning something new and stepping into the unknown is scary, but we will never know what is possible if we never do what is difficult. Your DESTINY and mine are already God ordained for us.  To impact your world around you.

I am in great expectation just knowing that great things are in store for me. God has a plan, and I am going to fulfil it with his guidance. So why don’t you have that same expectation for yourself?

Following is the e-mail that she shared with me. Take it and write it down and put it up somewhere you can see it daily, and no matter what, just remember it is your time for fulfilment.

10 representing “Divine Order”. It implies that nothing is wanting, that the number and order are perfect, that the whole cycle is complete. When you surrender yourself to God, you open the door so that God can work through you. God is Divine Love, Divine Light, Divine Power, Divine Wisdom, Divine Will, Divine Life, and Divine Order.

As 2022 approaches, it is my prayer that we all experience and walk in the Perfection of God’s Divine Order for our lives…….2021 ends…. let go of the past disappointments, past failures, past challenges, past heartaches, etc. and embrace what 2022 can be. Expect those witty inventions to come to you, that business plan to be clear, walking in your passion really takes off. And remember, 2022 can be yours to command.

Walking in Destiny,

You’ve finally found the perfect foundations for your skin tone, but what about the application? Not knowing where to start and how to layer your makeup can sometimes be worse than having the wrong shade! And if you’re a woman of colour, it’s essential to mix your foundations to enhance the natural dimensions of your face. We chatted with celebrity makeup artist Andrew Sotomayor—who has worked with Nina Garcia and Kerry Washington—about creating complexion perfection.

“The most common mistake I see with women of colour has one flat shade over their entire face,” says Andrew. It’s essential to have two or three shades to blend on your face to create a flawless, naturally dimensional complexion. To start, you should apply a concealer under your eyes.

“The most common mistake I see with women of colour is having one flat shade over their entire face,” says Andrew. It’s essential to have two or three shades to blend on your face to create a flawless, naturally dimensional complexion. To start, you should apply a concealer under your eyes. “The concealer should be two shades lighter than your skin,” says Andrew. Yellow concealer works better on darker skin tones than a beige concealer, which often turns greyish-blue on women of colour. Then, “apply a lighter shade of foundation in the centre of the face—on the cheeks, the middle of the forehead, the nose, and the chin,” says Andrew. “Use a damp sponge in a tapping motion for sheer coverage. Or if you are using a foundation brush, try a sweeping motion to diffuse the product and create a smooth, well-blended effect.” Because many women of colour have darker areas around the chin and forehead, it is vital to use a different shade that mimics the skin tones in these areas.

“To avoid getting an ashy look on your forehead or jaw, apply the darker shade of foundation across the hairline, under the cheekbones, and along the jaw,” says Andrew. Be sure to blend well with the other foundations. But what about getting back that healthy radiance? “For a glowing complexion, apply a shimmering or pearlescent highlighter across the cheekbones. “try copper or gold for medium skin tones and gold or bronze for deeper skin tones,” says Andrew. You can also dab a little bit of highlighter on the hairline, bridge of the nose, and chin to create a subtle glow where the sun would naturally hit your face.

DivaGlam Cosmetics specializes in already mixed colours for YOUR particular needs. Although our two-tone foundation pack already comes with a lighter colour and darker colour combo, it is crucial to try colours and remember that we are not just one shade but have beautiful highs and lows.

As I always say, YOU are the artist, and YOUR face is the canvas. Now go and paint!

It would always be stimulating to read content material from other writers and practice a little bit of something from their store. I’d favour using some with the content on my blog, whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a hyperlink on your net blog. Thanks for sharing.
